Kasabian Newton-Smith

Kas unfortunately lost his fight with cancer in Dec 2016.  He was 8yrs old and was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma (Cancer) when he was just 2yrs old. Kas had gone on to beat 5 tumors in the 5 years, but sadly in September Kas had a scan that showed 2 new tumours both of these tumours are inoperable. Sadly Kas’s mummy and daddy was given the devastating news that all treatment has not worked and no further treatment will be given. The only hope was to bring Kas comfort and memories for the whole family.

How Pride of the Isle has worked to help create happy memories:

  • In 2016 a shortfall of £1700 was given to Kas for his family Tree house. Because Kasabian could not go on holiday with him being too poorly so they bought the holiday to their home.

  • It was the ultimate surprise for little Kasabian Newton-Smith, when the Boogie Storm dance troupe performed just for him as a special early birthday treat in Nov 2016
